Erika Frank 

Erika Frank-Cooney - Owner and Artistic Director

Erika Frank started her dance career at the age of eleven dancing in The Ballet Theatre of Boston’s production of The Nutcracker. She has worked on major motion films and on television including, The Teen Nick Halo Award Show, Taking Woodstock, Going the Distance, and The Forger starring John Travolta.

Erika is a graduate of Dean College with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Dance, and is also a graduate of the Dance Teachers Club of Boston’s Teachers Training Program. She is a degreed active member in good standing with Dance Masters of America (certified to teach ballet, modern, jazz and tap), and is a professional member of the National Dance Educators Organization. Erika has worked as a judge and master class teacher for the On Point National Dance Competition where she adjudicates performers in all dance genres/levels, and has taught musical theatre master classes for competitive dancers.

Miss Frank has a decade of teaching experience working with children in diverse ages, levels, and genres. Many of her students have gone on to study dance on a collegiate level, and have made names for themselves as performers, choreographers, and teachers in the dance community. Along with dancing and performing, Erika continues to share her passion through teaching and choreographing for students throughout Massachusetts. Her choreography has won numerous awards at both regional and national dance competitions, and her students have been recognized in the competitive circa through high adjudications and as top scoring soloists. Erika has worked as a choreographer in the musical theatre community for over ten years choreographing musicals such as Chicago, Once Upon A Mattress, How to Suceed in Business without really trying, and Legally Blonde the Musical (LTOS.) 

In 2017, Miss Frank was awaded Best Studio Director at the Access Broadway Competition. She was also named one of the South Shore's Stars Top 40 Under 40 for her excellence in leadership, community development, and entreneurial skills. Erika is very thankful and humbled by the opportunity to give back to her native town of Stoughton through the arts, and looks forward to working with the great talents of Stoughton and surrounding towns. 



Sarah Palmer - Recreational & Pre-Professional Vocal and Acting Instructor 

Sarah Flanagan is a Stoughton native and a graduate of New York University's Masters program in educational theater. In 2010, she received her bachelor of science from Suffolk University in theater performance. Sarah has participated in educational theater and community outreach programs on the east coast, as well as both England and Ireland. Sarah has performed on stage in original musical and dramatic works in both New York City and Ireland, as well as many mainstream musicals in the Boston area. Sarah co-directs children's theater productions with Stoughton Little Theater and Menotomy Musical Theater (Arlington) , and is currently the music teacher and kindergarten teaching assistant at St. John the Evangelist school in Canton.



Kevin Fortin - Recreational & Pre-Professional Vocal Instructor

Kevin Fortin is a graduate of Ithaca College with a B.M. in Vocal Performance and Music Education. Since graduating, he has performed in many musicals at local community theatres. He started singing and performing in musicals at the age of 9, and participated in regional, state, and national choruses through- out high school. A licensed music teacher in Massachusetts, he looks forward to inspiring his students through his passion for singing and helping them grow as musicians.



Monika Benson - Recreational & Pre-Professional Ballet, Jazz, Lyrical, Contemporary Instructor 

Monika Benson is currently a student at Dean College, where she is obtaining her Bachelor’s degree in dance. She is a graduate of The Conservatory’s Pre-Professional Dance Program where she studied dance and theatre. Upon graduating from The Conservatory Monika was awarded an $80,000.00 talent scholarship to attend Dean College School of Dance. Miss Benson is the former 2016 Miss Dance of New England, and placed in the top ten at the 2016 Miss Dance of America Competition. While at The Conservatory Monika started her teacher training as a class assistant, and joined the CSPA faculty in the fall of 2016. She is grateful to have the opportunity to train the next generation of dancers and looks forward to a fantastic season of dance. 


Jeryl Pilapil- Pre-Professional Lyrical, Contemporary, Hip-Hop Instructor 

Jeryl Pilapil graduated from Dean College earning her B.A. degree as a dance major. Jeryl is currently a member of a Boston based hip hop crew StreetHyPE. She has also performed with companies such as Unyted Stylz Crew, Spunk and Company, Anna Meyer and Dancers and Impact Dance Company. Being a member of these groups has allowed her to perform in various shows throughout New England as well as doing video work for Erika Van Pelt and other independent and upcoming artists. She has also worked with Gaspard&Dancers, based in North Carolina.


Kyle Scanlan - Recreational & Pre-Pressional Hip-Hop, Ballet, Jazz, Lyrical/Contemporary,Modern Instructor 

Kyle Scanlan started dancing at the age of 4 in ballet, tap, and jazz. He started his pre-professional training at the age of 13, and has performed in many prestigous theatre and company work. Kyle has perfomed at the Joyce Theatre, Fire Island Dance Festival, and was featured on " Dancing with the Stars" as an AT&T spotlight performer. Recently, Mr. Kyle has been performing in local musical theatre producitions such as; Seussical the Musical and Eris' Chain. Kyle has been recongized for his outstanding choreography at both regional and national competitions, and is excited to positively influence his students to become mature and professional artists.


Susan Chopourian - Office Manager and Pre-Professional & Recreational Tap, Lyrical, Contemporary, Jazz, Stretch & Technique Instructor 

Ms. Chopourian is a dance teacher and choreographer with over 25 years of teaching experience. She has studied with such greats as; Beverly Fletcher, Tommy Relabate, and Sherry Gold, to name a few. Her extensive background includes performing, competing, teaching, and judging along the length of the East Coast. Susan was born into a dancing family. Helen, her mother as a professional dancer and award-winning costume maker. George, her father, was a ballroom instructor and audio technician. Currently residing on the South Shore, Ms Chopourian enjoys teaching all subjects, but has a special affinity for the multi-faceted world of tap dance. 







Kaetlin Parent - Modeling & Pagentry Instructor 

Kaetlin Parent has been involved in pageantry and modeling for over 20 years. She held the titles of Miss Maine USA 2008 and Miss Maine Teen USA 2005. She founded KP Consulting and is the official pageant coach for Miss Maine, Massachusetts and New Hampshire USA and Teen USA, where this past year her clients placed in the Top 10 and Top 15 at Miss USA. She has been coaching and training women of all ages for over 10 years and specializes in stage presence, walking/runway techniques and public speaking skills. Her goal is to give each client the tools they need to present themselves in any situation and skills they can carry with them throughout their lives. She wants all her students to leave her classes felling confident and empowered.

Kaetlin is a 2010 graduate of Saint Joseph’s College of Maine and a 2013 graduate of Gordon College, where she received a Masters of Education. She now resides in Woburn, Massachusetts with her husband and their daughter, Scarlett.
