Musical Theatre Intensive Program 

We are excited to announce our New Musical Theatre Intensive Program! The Musical Theatre Intensive Program is designed for the serious theatre student who wants to focus on elite level training. The Musical Theatre Intensive Program is an intermediate level program that fills the gap between the recreational and pre-professional levels. The program is by audition only offers educational classes in vocal, acting, and dance.  The Intensive Program builds the developing student by training the body, mind, and voice in class as well as on stage. This program does not require the student to compete, however, it does require a full 10-month in-studio commitment. 
 

Tuition varies based upon level of placement.

 

Musical Theatre Intensive students will receive (based upon placement)

  • Up to 4 hours of group vocal class per week

  • 1 hour per week of ballet, jazz, and tap 

  • 1 hour of acting per week 

  • Students will perform in annual shows and community performances

  • Once-per-month bonus education-only classes



Pre-Professional Musical Theatre Program 

 Created in 2015, our Pre-Professional Musical Theatre Program provides top level training and professional opportunities to students ages 9-18. The pre-professional program bridges the gap for the student who wants to pursue a career in the arts while training at the uppermost level. This program is by audition only, and is for the serious student. The Pre-Professional Program develops the student’s technique while growing a network behind the student before graduation from CSPA.  Pre-Professional Musical Theatre students will have a one-on-one mentorship with a CSPA faculty member throughout the year. The mentorship will focus specifically on guiding the student to their goals and aspirations. This program requires a full 12 month studio commitment. Travel and competitive experiences may be required.

  • Up to 4 hours of group vocal classes per week

  • 1 hour per week of acting class 

  • 1 hour per week of  ballet, tap, jazz, acrobatics, and hip-hop

  • One-on-one mentorship 

  • Students will perform in annual shows and community performances

  • Once-per-month bonus education-only classes

 

 

Competitive Musical Theatre Program

Join the team the has brought home over $100,000.00 in competitive earnings and scholarships! The competitive program is designed for the student who wants to focus on an intensive level of training to perfect for the stage. Competitive experiences provide the student with the opportunity to learn how to work as a team, challenge personal progress, perform and receive feedback from industry professional, and develop a network within the performing arts community.  To grow the student in a timely manner, CSPA’s competitive program is required for specific levels.  This program is by audition only, and is for the serious student.  As our belief is education first, competitive routines will be taught outside of class room time. Outside workshops and conventions may be required. End of the season National Competition may be required. If desired, the student may have the opportunity to work with outside industry professionals.  The competitive program requires a full 10-month commitment.
