Pre-Professional Musical Theatre

recreational and pre-professional dance classesThe Pre-Professional Musical Theatre Program is desgined for the student who desires to pursue a career in the performing arts industry and/or to study musical theatre at a collegiate level. We train our students equally in singing, acting, and dance to become a well rounded performer.

To ensure quality education all students are placed into classes based upon both ability and age. The program accepts students ages 5-18, and holds annual open auditions. Level placement will be determined by the program Director(s) at the Pre-Professional Musical Theatre Audition. We fully prepare all of our students with the education, skills, and motivation needed to achieve their dreams. It is highly encouraged that Pre-Professional Musical Theatre students take additional private vocal lessons.

Many of our Pre-Professional Musical Theatre Students have been signed to the industries top talent management companies and talent agencies. Students in our Pre-Professional Program & Competitive Teams have been awarded hundreds of dollars worth of 1st place earrings, regional singing/acting/dance titles, college scholarships, and more! The Conservatory School for the Performing Arts is affiliated with Kennedy Talent Management based out of New York who will annually offer master classes, lectures, and auditions to seek talent.

Mini Stars Musical Theatre/Dance Team
Ages 5-9 Beginner level / Prerequisite to Pre-Professional Program

Ages 5-7 (level 1a)
• Vocal & Acting (minimum of 45mins per week)
• Ballet, Tap, Jazz Combination Class ( 1 hour per week)
 

PRE-PROFESSIONAL MUSICAL THEATRE REQUIRED CLASSES
Level placement will be determined at the audition. To ensure quality education all levels are final unless otherwise directed by the studio director and/or teacher(s).
 

Junior Musical Theatre Team 
• Vocal & Acting (minimum of 1 hour vocal per week & 1/2 hour acting per week)
• Ballet (minimum 1 hour per week)
• Jazz (minimum 1 hour per week)
• Tap (minimum 1 hour per week)
 

Teen Musical Theatre Team 
• Vocal & Acting (minimum of 2.5 hours of vocal/acting per week)
• Ballet (minimum 1 hour per week)
• Jazz (minimum 1 hour per week)
• Tap (minimum 1 hour per week)
 

Private Voice Lessons
1/2 hr — $30 per lesson
45 mins — $45 per lesson
1 hr — $60 per lesson
1.5hrs — $90 per lesson

Come join The Conservatory this season! Mini Star auditions will take place on Saturday, June 16, 2018 5:00pm-6:30pm.
